Bird Nest Fern's, Asplenium nidus, are one of the top low-light plants for anyone to take care of. Their leaves are long with a strange wavy pattern at the end, always making it a topic of conversation with guests. They can survive in extremely low light.  This fern cultivar grows by producing new small leaves in the center mound which is where it gets it's nickname 'bird's nest' from. It's important not to touch the center of the plant.
