Crotons are always eye-catching because of their naturally vibrant leaves that can range from red, yellow, orange and green. This 'petra' variety has strong veins throughout the leaves and leaves can be all four colors. Crotons can be more needy than your regular houseplant so be sure to give them bright indirect light, do not let their soil dry out for too long and they love humidity. 
 
Light: Bright indirect light
Soil: Regular potting mix
Water: Water regularly and keep soil moist but don't let the plant sit in water.
Humidity: High humidity or use a pebble tray (tray with pebbles and water) and spritz daily.
Temp: Keep above 50°F
TOXIC, keep away from fur and human babies. They taste terrible so most pets do not want to eat them beyond a simple bite.
